This hunting lease is leased and not available. One hundred acres of hunting land is available for immediate lease in Lewis County, New York. The access for this property is from the road that runs along the south end of the property. The makeup of the property is crop fields, mature timber and a beaver pond on the east side. There is a small stream that divides the crop field into 2 pieces. The very east side of the property has a pretty good size beaver pond that has nesting geese and ducks. Would be excellent duck and goose hunting. The east property line is a fence line that runs north and south. There is a lot of old rubs in this fence line. Also, the willows along the stream has a bunch of rubs. There is a really nice piece of woods in the north end of the property. This woods had a lot of mature ash, cherry, maple and hemlock. The east property line has a finger that sticks out into the field that will accommodate tree stands. There was one deer in the field when I pulled up to the property (see photo) and I saw other deer tracks in the field. The terrain is an uphill grade from the road that can easily be walked. The north right hand corner definitely looks like a hot spot for stand locations. Respectful ATV use for hunting purposes is allowed.
